Although cold weather and icy roads are quickly approaching, cycling season is not quite over. Bicycling has proved to be a cost-efficient means of transportation, exercise and relaxation. Safety, however, is often a concern for cyclists when riding alongside motor vehicles.
I would like to thank drivers who already practice precaution when driving near cyclists and encourage drivers to follow the “3-foot rule,” which requires vehicles to leave at least 3 feet of space when passing bikes.
In order to create a safe traveling environment for all, everyone please be careful and share the road.
