Fort Wayne company to invest $750,000, create 30 jobs

Tuesday, October 8, 2013 - 12:01 am

A $750,000 investment could produce 30 new jobs at a local company.

Fort Wayne Industrial Properties LLC is asking City Council for a tax “phase in” on its plans to invest $750,000 in a building at 4817 Industrial Road that has been vacant for three years. Phase-ins temporarily lower taxes owed on new equipment or building improvements.

The jobs would have average salaries of $58,333, with a total additional annual payroll of $1.75 million. The start-up company will sell concrete, sand, gravel and related products.
