Pathways: Fall festivals, Handel's 'Messiah,' more

AGAPE CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN, 11610 Lima Road, will have Blue Bird Revival, a high-energy gospel band, perform in concert at 6 p.m. Nov. 2. Free, but donations will be taken.

ANTHONY WAYNE FIRST CHURCH OF GOD, 6012 South Bend Drive, will hold a fall festival with live music, games and activities 2-5 p.m. Saturday.

CONCORDIA THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, 6600 N. Clinton St., will hold a conference, An Open Conversation on Music in the Church: A Look at the Elephant in the Room, Nov. 3-5. TRINITY ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 405 W. Wayne St., will hold All Saints Sunday worship services at 9 and 11 a.m. Nov. 3 in the Nave. Evening prayer begins at 4 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Nave, with music led by Trinity English Schola Cantorum.

TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 611 W. Berry St., will have the choir present Howard Goodall's “Eternal Light: A Requiem” at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 during the All Saints Day service.

TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1636 St. Mary's Ave., will have Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. Nov. 27.
