Lecture on eating, psychology
Dr. Rudy Kachmann will speak on the psychology of eating at 7-8 p.m. today at Kachmann Auditorium, Lutheran Hospital Campus, 7900 W. Jefferson Blvd. The lecture is free.
Film on fight with mental illness
NAMI Fort Wayne will host the viewing of “oc87: The Obsessive Compulsive, Major Depression, Bipolar, Asperger's Movie” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Carriage House, 3327 Lake Ave. The film is the life story of Bud Clayman who went to college in hopes of becoming a filmmaker and who also had a long battle with mental illness. The film is free.

‘Trunk or Treat’
Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne will host Sweet Treats and Great Eats Trunk or Treat 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at 1010 W. Washington Center Road. Food truck options, photo booths, live music and free kettle corn will be available. Donations will be accepted with the proceeds going to the American Heart Association.
Learn about yoga at lecture
Kriya Yoga lecture will be 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1, IPFW, 2010 E. Coliseum Blvd., Kettler Hall, Room 146. Speaker will be Yogacharya Srinidhi Hassan.
Topic will be Kriya Yoga-the Ancient Science of Meditation. The lecture is free.
In addition, a workshop will be held Nov. 2 and 3 at the Fort Wayne Kriya Yoga Center.
