Luers grad makes impressive play vs. USC

Monday, October 21, 2013 02:17 am
SOUTH BEND - Notre Dame freshman linebacker Jaylon Smith spoke with the media on a number of topics following his team's 14-10 win over USC on Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium."We just had to rally together," Smith said. "Tommy's a great player. He's been here going on five years now, and he has a lot of experience. When somebody like that goes down, it takes the entire team to rally.""It feels good. It was a great feeling, but you have to go on to the next play and continue to get after it.""As the season progresses, you get a lot more comfortable with the play calling, so it's going to be great."
