Dream to Dare: Game Changing Communities Council Conference Scholarship deadline has been extended to Oct. 31 for those needing lodging and Nov. 8 for all others. Conference will be Dec. 3 and 4 at the downtown Westin Hotel, Indianapolis. Discounted registration fee is $65 for parents, seniors or people with disabilities. Deadline is Nov. 15.

Arts contest

2014 VSA Arts International Soloists Award is seeking disabled entrants. Young musicians with disabilities can win $2,500 and a performance in Washington, D.C. The competition is open to any musician with a disability age 14-25. Application deadline is Jan. 27.
