Help for hospitals on safety rules

EXTENSION announces a new program, EXTENSION Evaluate, that helps hospitals prepare for the Joint Commission's new National Patient Safety Goal (NPSG.06.01.01) on alarm safety.

Alzheimer’s planning

Alzheimer's Association will host Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer's Disease at 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Bluffton Regional Medial Center, 303 S. Main St., Bluffton. Animals for veterans

Veterans and Service Animals Webinar will be 2:30-4 p.m. Nov. 12. The discussion will focus on the use of service animals by veterans and the related American with Disabilities Act regulations. A look at the use of service animals by veterans who have non0apparent disabilities such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder will be covered.
