Mudrack Tree Services began work on the Christmas Tree on Broadway in front of the Shine & Hardin law office on Friday.

Mudrack cut down the 40-foot blue spruce tree from a home in Waynedale for the Christmas celebration. The Christmas tree will be wrapped in more than 28,000 lights over the next week. Visionscapes, Summit City Electric and A Yard Apart are working together on decorating the tree.

The Christmas Tree will be lit at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 22.
