He talked with The News-Sentinel following the game:“I mean it feels real good to get back out there with my team. They help me out a lot in practice and stuff like that, going up hard for the ball and get fouled as I go up. My coaching staff works real hard in the paint with me, so it really wasn’t just me out there going 9-for-9. I thank my guards.”“It was very important. If we didn’t get those two threes and that easy shot we probably wouldn’t be as happy. In practice we go over stuff like that, so we should be used to coming off breaks and stuff like that and be ready to go.
"At halftime our coach (Al Gooden) told us we needed to get back up. We were up by seven but we needed to get back up and jump ahead so that’s what we came out to do. We took that to consideration and jumped ahead.”“We learned about as a team, we have to slow down. As we went up by 12, we started speeding up and running and gunning but we learned that we need to slow down and once we slowed down, we’d go through a couple plays and get a couple of open shots.”
