If drivers will stop for anything along West State Boulevard it's Father Christmas.

Dressed head to foot in a white-trimmed red cloak and holding an anter-topped staff, the jolly man waved to traffic Sunday night as he ushered residents of the Brookview-Irvington Park Historic District across the road.

Father Christmas, aka Jeb Brenneman, joined more than 30 residents and friends of the neighborhood for a chilly night of singing “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman” and other Christmas favorites along Eastbrook and Westbrook drives.
