Tip of the hat to Indiana Physical Therapy on Lahmeyer and Stellhorn roads. Ruthie is the best! She encouraged me to get stronger and stronger, and she always had something new to try when the first idea didn't work. Thank you!
Thanks to the young man in the Sherwin-Williams shirt who bought two little “young” ladies breakfast at McDonald's on West Jefferson Boulevard on Nov. 21. It was very much appreciated.
I would like to thank the lovely lady who came up to me and gave an 89-year-old lady $25 while she was grocery shopping Nov. 15. It was quite a nice surprise, and it sure made my day. In case I was so overwhelmed and didn't thank you, I do now. Thank you, and God bless you.
A tip of the hat to all the staff at Dupont Hospital (doctors, nurses and everyone). I was so sick, (they) met me at the emergency room door with a cot. Routine tests done, IV started within a short time, sent up to a room where staff continued to be right there checking me often upon my arrival. Continued this care until I was dismissed. All the staff were wonderful in their caregiving. Thank you, Dupont Hospital.
A major tip of the hat to Fabric & Friends in Roanoke and the Orchid in New Haven. These businesses supplied fabric and meals for about 100 women on a recent Saturday. Participants sewed more than 1,200 pillowcases that will be given to pediatric cancer patients at our local hospitals by the organization ConKerr Cancer. Thanks to all.
