NAMI meeting

Down Syndrome speaker

DSANI will host Dr. Brian Skotko, MPP, brother to a sister with Down Syndrome, medical geneticist, author and speaker, at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at Sweetwater Sound's Theater, 5501 US 30 W. A reception will follow the lecture. The event is free and open to the public.

In addition, Skotko will speak with Sue Levin at 10-11:30 a.m. March 1 at Kachmann Auditorium on the campus of Lutheran Hospital, 7900 W. Jefferson Blvd.

The workshop is for adult brothers and sisters of siblings with Down Syndrome and for siblings high school age and up along with parents of children with Down Syndrome and any other special needs. To RSVP, email dsani4u@aol.com or call 471-9964.
