Thomas P. Doak, 53, of the 300 block of West Superior Street is being held pending formal charges for burglary, a Cass C felony and receiving stolen property, a Class D felony at the Allen County Jail.

According to Allen Superior Court documents, on Dec. 31 a woman called to report break in. Once Fort Wayne Police Department officers arrived they found a window had been broken to allow entry to First Financial Bank. An employee from the surveillance video company, Koellinger Kruse, went to the scene and helped with reviewing videotapes in the building. Once the employee headed back to work he spotted a person who looked like the man on the tapes leaving a North Wells Street diner and carrying two computer bags that looked like the ones reported stolen in the burglary. The employee called 911; police arrived and detained Doak.
