Getting to work Saturday morning was treacherous but made less so by some caring individuals from our community who would never seek out recognition for their good deeds.
I don’t know their names or where they even live, but I wanted to say thank you to the three Amish men and one boy about 7 years old who braved the cold and snow that morning to use a front loader to plow out the approximately 4-foot-by-quarter-mile drift on Dody Road just south of Ricker Road.
I was already late for work and turning around to find a different route would have just made me more late, but thanks to these caring individuals.
I made it to work as a nurse in the community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart — and please know that I plan to pay it forward!
