I was wondering if someone would answer by publishing a reply to this question.
What is the re-entry program all about? Does it cost money to be in it? Who benefits from it? The state? The county? The released individual? And why?
If the individual is released from prison, why can they not be left alone to go on leading a productive life, getting a job, being around their friends and families, and having community support, being able to go to their church and pray right along with their church families and be happy?
Why do they have to keep on paying the judicial system? Society will always be different as we all have different personalities, opinions, ideas and our thinking is not all the same. I believe an individual should be given a second chance once they are released from being incarcerated, and I feel the individual and their families have already been punished enough as the individual having served their time is enough punishment.
With the support of the individual’s family and friends and support of the community and the families of the church, this is the major healing of mind and spirit. It does not require money to pray.It does not require money to be a good friend. It does not require money to be a family member always loved by family no matter what. It does not require money from the community to be able to be friends and neighbors with them. So why does it still cost to want to be independent and happy? So I would appreciate it if I could receive an answer on what the whole re-entry program is all about and if it costs money.
Thank you to whomever answers this.
