INDIANAPOLIS – Ball State University defensive end Jonathan Newsome joined two other Cardinals and seven other Mid-American Conference players at the NFL Combine.The heavy influx of the MAC players shows respect and strength of the conference continues to grow, Newsome said.

Ball State also has quarterback Keith Wenning and wide receiver Willie Snead at the combine.
