Don't know who he might even be, but sure appreciate all his efforts, especially in the cold and snow lately. He may have noticed my side ramp, but as a stroke survivor, I appreciate that he delivers our paper to our front door on the West Berry Street West Central route.
A big thank you and a sweet Valentine's Day to the (McGeezers) at McDonald's on West Washington Center Road. They are a kind group of gentlemen.
A real big thank you to the person who found and turned in my keys at Meijer on Lima Road. I thought they were snapped onto my handbag, but they were gone when I reached my car. Traced my steps back to the store with no luck. Much to my relief, they were at customer service. Thank you again for taking the time to care and turn them in.
A tip of the hat to the city of New Haven's Street Department. Once again, they have done a phenomenal job clearing the streets during this exceptionally snowy winter. Thank you.
A tip of the hat to the wonderful mail and newspaper carriers who have braved this terrible winter to bring me my mail and newspapers. A hearty round of applause to you.
I am a senior widow who would like to thank my neighbors in New Haven who keep my sidewalks, driveway and steps cleared of all this snow. Thanks: S&S Optical, Doug, Ed and the Meredith family. Thank you.
