INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — One of the Indianapolis Zoo's new orangutans has briefly escaped his primary enclosure.

Zoo officials tell WISH-TV a male orangutan named Rocky left his primary enclosure Tuesday morning and hid in the building housing the apes. Zookeepers found the Rocky about 30 minutes later, but only after he had dismantled a web camera in the building.

Officials say zookeepers were able to lure Rocky back into his primary enclosure.

Zoo officials say Rocky never entered areas accessible to visitors. They say the zoo had about 60 visitors at the time and they were kept in a dolphin exhibit until Rocky was located.

The $26 million orangutan exhibit that's larger than two NFL football fields is scheduled to open to the public Memorial Day weekend.
