The Rant is The News-Sentinel's anonymous sound-off forum. The readers' views expressed here do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of The News-Sentinel. I've had it up to my eyeballs about black discrimination! I'm not racist by any means, but if you act like a thug, you'll be treated as such, no matter what your race.

I have a surefire way to know which TV or radio channel I don't like. If it carries those loud annoying car or furniture commercials I change it. Every time.

Once again a “good” Christian Republican politician is caught having an extra-marital affair with one of his employees. Reminds me of the time when then-U.S. Rep. Mark Souder got caught having sex with one of his employees. What's causing this moral failing? Being a Christian, Republican or both?

To the ranter who said “Republicans know financial limitations are real and attempt to find a realistic balance.” Have you forgotten, the two presidents who created the biggest deficit and national debt in our history, Ronald Reagan and G.W. Bush? You are the one who isn't being realistic.

The Chamber of Commerce is trying to make me pay dues. They sponsored right to work, which says that you don't have to pay dues for representation. So I am refusing. They should represent all businesses in Fort Wayne for free. We will see how the courts rule on … dues.

Public schools offer the same curriculum to all students. It is up to the student whether he or she chooses to study and learn. Additional help is available if it is asked for. Stop blaming society for the abysmal results. Additionally, parents are responsible for the values … of their children.

In addition to gender and ethnicity quota criteria for employers and schools, etc., will it now have to include lifestyle criteria?

Bob Morris' well-funded campaign has spread the city with his … signs. Don't let this effort overlook his past attacks on the Girl Scouts of America. Morris claimed that “The Girl Scouts are a radicalized organization that supports a homosexual lifestyle and abortion … ” in his letter to the General Assembly.

While driving, I easily observe upwards of 30 to 50 percent of other drivers staring down at their phones or perching them on their steering wheels using them. It certainly cannot be that difficulty for a law enforcement officer to make the same observations — I hope they are writing tickets.

If city buses have to allow controversial ads because of free speech, does this mean groups like neo-Nazis and the KKK can be in the Three Rivers Festival parade?

Gay marriage threatens the traditional American values of morality, decency and love.

I love how Mayor Henry says “no increase in taxes” but yet my latest tax bill shows an increase in taxes and guess who is at the head of the line with the highest percentage of tax increase. You guessed it, “the city.” Vote this guy out next election.

To all advertisers, especially car dealerships, your loud and obnoxious commercials just cost you a potential customer.

The Right to Life group is at it again! Publicly telling us who we should vote for based on their endorsements. What they fail to mention is that some of their preferred candidates are also board members. Other pro-life candidates are not endorsed simply due to their bias!
