I am Janine Rudolph, and I'm running on the Republican ticket for Huntertown clerk-treasurer. I am the wife of the current clerk-treasurer, David Rudolph, who was elected to the position in 2010. In late 2011, after a surgical procedure, he suffered a stroke. Due to the stroke it was necessary for me to assume his duties as clerk-treasurer for the remainder of his elected term.I was appointed his deputy clerk and have been to multiple clerk-treasurer training sessions and have been serving Huntertown in the capacity of deputy clerk-treasurer for more than two years. I have a paralegal degree and have been employed for more than 33 years as a paralegal at Sirva (formerly North American Van Lines). I will retire from Sirva at the end of 2014 to devote full time to serving the town of Huntertown as clerk-treasurer.

My husband and I are both graduates of Huntertown High School and have lived in Huntertown for 41 years. We have raised four sons in Huntertown, and 11 of our 13 grandchildren attend Northwest Allen County Schools.

I feel that my training and hands-on experience in the clerk-treasurer office makes me the best candidate for the job. During this time I have created the budgets from the tax dollars received including MVH, LRS, CEDIT, COIT and other fund sources. In addition I have paid wages, utility expenses and bond payments. I have filed all of the numerous state and federal reports that are required for several million dollars that Huntertown generates. I have a very good working relationship with the Indiana State Board of Accounts and the Department of Local Government Finance, which is necessary to do this job.

I would like to continue to serve Huntertown and ask for your vote on Tuesday.

Janine E. Rudolph

Huntertown deputy clerk-treasurer
