Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling said he made a terrible mistake with the racist comments that led to his ban from the NBA. He has asked for forgiveness. Las Vegas odds for Sterling being forgiven opened at Infinity-to-1.

However, it's even money Sterling will engage in a lawsuit lasting until LeBron James Jr. is playing in the NBA.After failing to play up to his standards over the last month, Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert has posted two strong games in the Pacers' series against the Washington Wizards. Insiders say the change happened during an intervention. Wow. At least the Miami Dolphins don't have a history of players being insensitive or unenlightened.Former NBA star Tracy McGrady gave up two hits and two runs in 1 2/3 innings during his pitching debut with the minor league Atlantic League Sugar Land Skeeters. Most agreed he didn't look quite like a professional pitcher. More like a Chicago Cub.After being picked 22nd in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, Johnny Manziel already has the biggest-selling jersey since April 1. Browns fans want to make sure they jump on the Johnny Football bandwagon now before something bad happens, such as the regular season starting.

Meanwhile, after news that former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel has been offered the job as president of Youngstown State, sales of sweater vests and tattoos skyrocketed in Youngstown, Ohio.The Chicago Bears signed former Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch with the intention of converting him into a running back. That sounds unconventional, but you have to remember the Bears have spent the last four years trying to convert Jay Cutler into a winning quarterback.The University of Texas had no football players taken in the NFL Draft for the first time since 1937. Why do I get the feeling this will now be used as a way to justify a nonconference home game against a school with a drafted player, such as Saginaw Valley or McGill?
