INDIANAPOLIS – Dallas Clark was emotional, self-deprecating and grateful during his retirement news conference in his one-day return to the Indianapolis Colts.
“I'm a Colt,” Clark said. “I'm very lucky to say that.”
Clark, who played tight end for the Colts for the first nine of his 11 NFL seasons, thanked a number of people, including his teammates, coaches, owner Jim Irsay, other Colts employees and his family during an official retirement news conference at the Colts practice facility on Wednesday.
He took some time to single out about former teammates Reggie Wayne, who was in attendance, and Peyton Manning. Here's a clip of what Clark had to say:
