Five arrested by Fort Wayne Police in two raids

Five people were charged Tuesday after two searches of Fort Wayne homes were conducted Tuesday morning, Fort Wayne Police reported.The first search warrant was executed shortly before 8 a.m. in the 400 block of East Wildwood Avenue. Tammy Sue Clark, 42, and Erick Johnson, 40, were each charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. Two dogs and a rabbit were removed from the house by Fort Wayne Animal Control.

The second search was conducted shortly after 11 at a residence in the 2900 block of Alexander Street.

An infant was removed from the home by staff of the Department of Child Services. Three people were arrested there and charged as follows: Sonnie M. Thompson, 27, maintaining a common nuisance; Anthony Collier, 26, four counts of dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule 1 substance; and Christina George, 22, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin and dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug, according to police.

Two dogs were removed by Fort Wayne Animal Control.
