The Foellinger Foundation has awarded $25,000 to Science Central as part of the foundation's Limited Asset Improvement Grant opportunity. Science Central will use the grant monies to do a much needed upgrade to their current IT system.Victory Noll Center will host its successful Matthew 25 Project service program to assist the needy 1-4 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 9, at 1900 W. Visit www.olvm.org/vncenter for more information about the project.University of Saint Francis students participated in a food drive Aug. 24 to collect food for the Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County's Neighborhood Food Network.The third annual Busse-Fabini Cougar Classic, a University of Saint Francis golf outing, raised more than $75,000 for student-athlete scholarships.Noble County Relay for Life received $37,000 at this years event.The Llama Lovers Critter Haven 4-H Club was recognized recently as the Outstanding 4-H Club for 2014 at the 4-H awards ceremony held during the Allen County Fair. They were selected from more than 30 different 4-H Clubs in Allen County.
