Halloween is nearly here

They may not have found the “Great Pumpkin” like Charlie Brown, but Holland Elementary's first-graders did find some just their size.

Students headed out to Kurtz Farms on Indiana 37 in New Haven on Tuesday to pick out their own pumpkins for Halloween.

But jack-'o-lanterns aren't the only fun for this spooky holiday, so trick-or-treat hours are as follows:

♦For Fort Wayne, 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

♦For New Haven, 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31. Downtown businesses on Broadway will be handing out candy 4-6 p.m. The annual Halloween festival will be 4-5:30 p.m. at Schnelker Park, New Haven. This is free and open to the public.
