Tonya Vojtkosky, co-founder of the Fort Wayne Derby Girls, has been named a “Breakthrough Woman” by CNN's “Headline News with Robin Meade,” for her community and roller derby involvement. The segment airs at 6 a.m. Friday on “Headline News.”

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department's youth centers are participating in a Safe Haven Prevention Week Oct. 19-24. There will be open houses 5-7 p.m. Monday at Jennings Recreation Center, Tuesday at Weisser Park Youth Center and Wednesday at Cooper Community Center.
