I would like to thank the person who found my purse in the grocery cart at Scott's at Coventry and turned it in at the store.
I would like to tip the hat to the woman who paid for my lunch at McDonald's at Tillman (Road) and Anthony (Boulevard).
Tip of the hat and thanks to Sandy Beachy for the amusing, interesting, stimulating and varied entertainment, tours and events she arranged for the residents of Georgetowne Place over the past 3 1/2 years. She is a model activities director and will be missed. Best wishes for your future.
I would like to tip my hat to two young men who rescued me from a wheelchair accident at Pettit (Avenue) and Calhoun Street. My chair had stopped, but I did not, so I was lying on the pavement unable to get up. They got out of their vehicle, got me back into my chair and made sure I was OK.
Tip your hat to someone. Call 461-8124 or e-mail tipofthehat@news-sentinel.com.
