GLASSWORK AT THE GALLERY: Artists Kathy Hudson and Charlotte Behens display and sell their colorful glass artwork at Orchard Gallery, 6312 Covington Road. Their colorful creations include cheese trays, plates, picture frames, free-standing glass sculptures, ornaments and more. The items are decorative, fun and make excellent gifts. The exhibit is open until Nov. 30. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. STAGE STROLL: First Presbyterian Theater presents “A Walk in the Woods,” a humorous and clever play about nuclear disarmament, negotiations and the “nature of communication between individuals and governments.” Preview performance is 7:30 p.m. today. Additional showtimes are 8 p.m Friday and Saturday and Nov. 13, 14, 20, 21, and 2 p.m. November 15. Tickets are $10 each for the preview show and $16-$18 for weekend shows. POTTERY DISPLAY: “Just a Bunch of Potters” 10th annual holiday show and sale displays the works of 14 local potters. Opening reception is 6-8 p.m. The show continues 6-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the North Pointe Woods Club House on Riveroak Drive off North Clinton. Admission is free.

DEBRAND CHOCOLATE EXTRAVAGANZA: The 15th annual DeBrand Fine Chocolate Extravaganza benefiting Family and Children's Services includes a chocolate buffet, hors d'oeuvres, chocolate fountain and silent auction. The event is 6:30-9 p.m. in the Indiana Hotel Lobby next to the Embassy Theatre, 121 W. Jefferson Blvd. Cost is $25 per person. Call 744-2346.

A CHRISTMAS PLAY: “A Christmas Key” is a new and inspiring play by Ruth Tyndall Baker dealing with issues families face during the holidays. Showtime is 8 p.m. at the auditorium of the Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza. Additional performances are at 8 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 13-14 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Nov. 15. SATURDAY

DAY OF THE DEAD CELEBRATION: Families and children celebrate the Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead with a variety of crafts. Event is 2-4 p.m. today and Sunday in Children's Services at the Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza. Call 421-1220.

MACEDONIAN BALL: Enjoy live music, dinner and Macedonia wine tasting. Attending are Mayor Tom Henry and the Macedonian ambassador to the United States. The ball will be at the Fort Wayne Marriott, 305 E. Washington Center Road. Festivities begin at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $55 a person. Call 403-4723.

IF I WERE A RICH MAN: The Civic Theatre presents the popular musical “Fiddler on the Roof.” Showtime is 8 p.m. at Arts United Center, 303 E. Main St. Additional performances are at 8 p.m. Nov. 13-14 and 20-21, and 2 p.m. Sunday and Nov. 15 and 22. Tickets are $16-24. Call 424-5220.

MONDAY

OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD: This celebration of the classic tale of Dorothy and her adventures in the land of Oz is part of the Broadway at the Embassy Series. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at the theater, 121 W.
