Another gallery is opening a Holiday Art Market for those eager to get started on holiday shopping.
Artlink Contemporary Art Gallery's market opens Tuesday, selling one-of-a-kind items made by local and regional artists through Dec. 31.
Local artist Cat Voors will offer her jewelry, as will Ashley Scare, who uses recycled-reused items. Local clay artists include Kristy Jo Beber and Laura Brandenburg. Barry Belknap will sell turned wooden bowls and wine stoppers. Leslie Lundgren's brightly colored threaded scarves will be for sale, as well as Clare Christian's stuffed creatures.
Hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, noon-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday

The American Red Cross is offering gift ideas in its first holiday giving catalog — and these gifts truly reflect the meaning of the season.
The Red Cross is making it easy to give a monetary gift that will benefit the organization's programs. For example, $100 will provide a hot meal for 10 people. Red Cross volunteers provide meals to people where disaster strikes.
Order online at www.RedCross.org/gifts. You can personalize e-cards to let friends and relatives know a gift has been given in their name.
Speaking of giving, Kroger and Scott's stores have started their “Share Your Feast” food drive. Now through Dec. 24, customers may purchase $3, $5 or $10 of pre-bagged food or make a cash donation that will go to local food banks.
Unique gifts at Richardville House
Feather jewelry, beadwork, fine art, cornhusk dolls and more will be for sale this weekend as the season ends at the Chief Richardville House, 5705 Bluffton Road.
It's all part of the Miami Traders Days at the house, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-4 p.m. Sunday.
Miami people will share stories, and the Painted Turtle Singers will present traditional Miami Indian drumming, singing and dancing.
The historic 1827 home of Miami Chief Jean Baptiste de Richardville will be open to tour. The event is free.
The merchants of Covington Plaza are holding an open house this weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, with some stores extending to Friday and Sunday.
At the Monogram Shoppe, the open house is today and Sunday. The store is offering free shipping to the shop for all stationery orders. Anyone who spends $50 on a Julia Knight serving bowl or platter will get a free spreader. A free ornament will be given away with the purchase of $100 worth of Peggy Karr glass. The Monogram Shoppe is at 6410 W. Jefferson Blvd.
Neuhouser Garden and Gifts, 4605 W. Jefferson Blvd., is offering savings through Monday on fresh, mixed-green wreaths if you pre-order and pre-pay. Wreaths start at 24 inches for $29. Grave blankets are $67, and a 75-foot roll of white pine garland is $31.50. They arrive the week of Nov. 23. Stop in the Jefferson Boulevard store to order or call 436-8538.
Also, Neuhouser is having a holiday open house at its Jefferson location now through Sunday. Hours: open until 7 p.m. today; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Stein Mart is hosting a military appreciation event 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyone with a valid military ID (active or retired) will get a 10 percent discount on those two days.
