School systems are now sending collection agencies after parents who are delinquent in paying children's lunch fees. Are you kidding me? The American people are hurting, and they are just pouring fuel on the fire.

What beautiful trees the city has planted along both sides of the newly finished Wayne Trace between Oxford and the Pontiac roundabout: Next year, under the direction of the City Utilities … (a) tree service will come and cut them all down!

Attention, Churubusco children: If you did any “tricking” during the Halloween season, the high school principal and staff will be in charge of your punishment, not your parents or the police.

The Indiana State Police (officers') “Smokey Hats” look so professional during traffic stops. Why can't the city police wear hats when at traffic stops?

Where in the world did we get this president? What qualified him? His indecisiveness and never being in the Oval Office doing his job, just makes my point. Anyone got a lock for that door?

Wow! (About) 9,100 people have been vaccinated for H1N1. Think how long that line's going to be when 290,000 people from Allen County line up at Carew.

If the schools are going to censor suggestive photos while school is not in session, then let's go a step further. Censor how many times students use the “F” word on these public sites.

I would like to rant about all the people who see that a lane is closed up ahead, can see the blinking arrow to merge but still they stay in that lane, speed ahead of all the cars that are obeying the rules and waiting their turn, to merge/nudge in front! … Take your turn, buddy!

Thank goodness the (Allen County) Sheriff and (Fort Wayne) Chief of Police are creating the combined dispatch center agreement. Having a mayor and a “mayor wannabe” commissioner designing it is like a governor designing a food stamp system.

I just got the bill for a simple X-ray. It was $500. A couple of years ago, that same X-ray was $200.
