Thank you to the women who helped clean mayonnaise from a broken jar off my shoe at the Meijer on Lima Road. I'm handicapped and could not clean it up myself. One woman even took my shoe, washed it off and put the shoe back on! I can't afford to slip and fall, so I am very grateful.
On behalf of the employees of Umber's Do it Best in Georgetown North, we would like to thank everyone that voted us the No. 1 hardware store for the second year in a row. It's a great honor, and we would not be here without our loyal customers. Thank you very much!
I would like to tip my hat to Indiana State Medical Association Alliance President Cami Pond for her vision and determination to bring awareness to the public and the medical profession regarding post-traumatic stress disorder in the military and the effect on families as a result of many and multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tip your hat to someone. Call 461-8124 or e-mail tipofthehat@news-sentinel.com.
