Air National Guard

♦Airman Danielle L. Leins graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. She is the daughter of Steve Leins of Fort Wayne and a 2009 graduate of East Noble High School, Kendallville.

♦Airman Gregory D. Murphy graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, earning distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Rose Murphy of Fort Wayne, and a 2009 graduate of South Side High School.

♦Airman 1st Class Jacob Smith graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, earning distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Scott and Mindy Smith of Fort Wayne, and a 2005 graduate of a home-school program.

Army

♦Pfc. Kevin J. Green has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Tony Norman of Fort Wayne.

♦Nathan T. Chapman has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla., and has been promoted to the rank of private two in the U.S. Army. He is the son of Craig C. and Cheryl L. Chapman of Fort Wayne and a 2008 graduate of Leo Junior-Senior High School.

Army National Guard

♦Pvt. Latrelle L. Stewart has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Laresha Stewart of Fort Wayne and a 2007 graduate of Northrop High School.

♦Pvt. Marcus A. Palmer has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Bonita Stevens of Fort Wayne, and Bruce Palmer of Kendallville, and a 2006 graduate of Snider High School.

Army ROTC

Nicholas A. Schatko has graduated from the Army ROTC Leaders Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. He is a student at Indiana University Bloomington. Schatko is the son of John S. Schatko and Karen S. Schatko, both of Fort Wayne, and a 2006 graduate of Snider High School.
