INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Mr. Basketball Deshaun Thomas of Bishop Luers and Russell Byrd of Blackhawk Christian were selected to The Indianapolis Star Indiana All-Stars boys high school team, it was announced today.
Thomas averaged 31.8 points per game this season, while Byrd averaged 23.3. Both will play college ball in the Big 10. Thomas is headed to Ohio State and Byrd to Michigan State.
The Indiana All-Stars will play Kentucky's All-Stars on June 11 at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky., and June 12 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Aside from Thomas and Byrd, the 12 other Indiana All-Stars are:
