JEFFERSONVILLE — Survivors of the March 2 tornadoes that killed 13 people across southern Indiana are getting a chance to share their stories.
Organizers of long-term tornado recovery group March2Recovery have planned three public discussions beginning Thursday where survivors can share their stories and how they've been affected.
The Rev. Jennifer Mills-Knutsen of March 2Recovery tells the Courier-Journal of Louisville, Ky., that the goal is to help peopke rebuild their emotional and spiritual lives.
Thursday's session is at Emmanuel United Methodist Church on Old State Road 3 in Otisco. The others will be held Aug. 22 at Daisy Hill United Methodist Church in Borden and Aug. 28 at Community Presbyterian Church in Henryville. Each session begins at 7 p.m.
