INDIANAPOLIS — One of the children hurt when school bus rolled over on a highway near Indianapolis says he just held on tight.

Nine-year-old Connor Goodman suffered cuts to his face and a broken arm when the bus carrying special-needs students crashed Thursday on Interstate 65 while returning to Lafayette from an Indianapolis Zoo field trip.

Tracy Goodman tells WTHR-TV that his son has autism and at first could just say he was in a bad crash.

Connor was among seven adults and five children hurt, although police say all were wearing restraints and not seriously injured. Police were searching for a truck that cut in front of the bus.

Connor says the crash was scary, and his father says he can't understand why the truck driver didn't stop.
