Hancock Fabrics has closed its Glenbrook Commons store and will reopen Friday in Apple Glen, a worker said Sunday. The new store is smaller but store displays will hold two to three times the merchandise of the closed store, she said. It will carry only fabric and notions in the new space near Wal-mart, which previously was occupied by Fashion Bug. The store at 1730 Apple Glen will be open 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
