ANDERSON – Diana Overman, 11, of Fort Wayne, was a guest of coach Chuck Pagano and the Indianapolis Colts at training camp on Tuesday at Anderson University.

Diana was among the Riley Hospital for Children patients who attended practice and met with Pagano afterward. After 3 years of treatment, Diana's cancer went into remission in the spring. The daughter of Todd and Karen Rodenbeck, Diana recently won the Miss Amazing Pageant for children with special needs and abilities and will compete in Omaha, Neb., for the national pageant.

Diana said her two favorite players are Chandler Harnish and Andrew Luck.

“It's an honor to have those kids from Riley coming out here,” Pagano said. “Certainly we all understand first-hand what they're going through, the battles that they're fighting, the strain that it is on their families, those type of things. …They're an inspiration to us, just to see them fight and how strong and come out here with smiles on their faces and the way they attack the bully that they're battling.”
