This March is the 40th anniversary of National Nutrition Month, and area dietitians will be out to share ideas on this year's theme, “Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day.”
The theme encourages people to include foods they love in a healthy eating plan for their lifestyle, traditions, health needs and taste, a news release said. Dietitians also will encourage portion control, moderation and physical activity.
Registered dietitians will be available at the following events to answer questions and offer a healthy snack:
•Fort Wayne Farmers Market, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Parkview Field, 1301 Ewing St.
•Doctors Day at Science Central, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Science Central, 1950 N. Clinton St.
