All four seniors from the state champion Homestead Spartans girls team will be representing Indiana on April 30.

Karissa McLaughlin, Madisen Parker, Jazmyne Geist and Teryn Kline will all suit up for team Indiana and their Spartan coach Rod Parker in the annual Nancy Rehm Borders Wars game to be played at Saint Francis.

Parker selected his team of 13 players from a who's who of area girls and McLaughlin and Parker will be at the forefront in a rare scenario that will see Indiana All-Stars represent Northeast Indiana in the Border Wars game against Ohio.

Joining Homestead's four on Indiana's team are fellow seniors Kyla Covington and Daysianae Hinton (Snider), Brianna Cumberland and Aly Reiff (Whitko), Shania Kelly (Concordia Lutheran), Darshana Nathan (South Side), Anne Secrest (Tippecanoe Valley), Mason VanHouten (Canterbury) and Becca Villanueva (Carroll).

Border Wars will take place on Sunday, April 30 with the girls game starting at 2 p.m. The boys will follow at 4:15. Their roster is expected to be announced on Friday.
