SOUTH BEND – Notre Dame’s men’s basketball team let the long-range shots fly in their latest win.
The Irish hit 17 three-pointers, including seven by Matt Ryan, who led the team with 23 points in a 91-60 win over Chicago State on Saturday at Purcell Pavilion.
Steve Vasturia scored 19 points, V.J. Beachem 15 points and Bonzie Colson added a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. He also added five assists. It was Colson’s third-straight double-double. Matt Farrell led the team with seven assists.
Notre Dame improved to 6-0 and will play Iowa at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Purcell Pavilion.
