If you were wondering which players Tuscon has signed on two-way, AHL-ECHL contracts, here are your answers.
Defenseman Kevin Ekman-Larsson is a 22-year-old defenseman who is coming over from Sweden. He's 5-11, 165 pounds.
Scott Allen is a 27-year-old left wing from Edmonton who is 6-3, 198 pounds. He scored 13 goals and 30 points in 37 games last year in the ECHL with Norfolk, and eight goals and 19 points in 57 games in the AHL with Bakersfield.
Ryan Culkin is a 23-year-old defenseman from Montreal who is 6-2, 201 pounds. He scored one goal and 12 points in 16 games with Adirondack last year in the ECHL, and no points in 19 AHL games with Stockton.
The other player on a two-way contract is forward Trevor Cheek, whom everyone in Fort Wayne knows all about.
Now, just because they are on two-way contracts is in no way a guarantee they will all be showing up in Fort Wayne. It's also possible the Roadrunners will be signing more players to two-way contracts, though Elite Prospects says the team has four goaltenders, nine defensemen and 16 forwards under contract.
Remember, the AHL teams do not have roster restrictions like the NHL or ECHL teams.
It also doesn't mean the Roadrunners can't send players to Fort Wayne who are on AHL-only contracts.
