As part of Steve Grogg's idea to honor Bob Chase which you can read about by please clicking here, an online petition has been started which you can take a look at by please clicking here.

The petition states:

Bob "Chase" Wallenstein was a facet of the Fort Wayne community. Not only as a face of the Komets but a face for the good that the city stood for. Bob made an impact in the lives of so many whether they heard his voice, calling games from Radio Rinkside all across the county, or just simply his good natured presence in the community.

Whether your relationship with Bob went back decades or it was your first conversation with him, you walked away feeling as if he was a lifelong friend. Bob impacted so many lives and was the person many people strive to be. I cannot think of a better person to be reminded of every time I enter the Memorial Coliseum nor a better individual to show what the community stands for to those from afar attending an event than Bob Chase. Let's give one last fitting tribute to the man that gave so much to so many.
