After a season playing for coach Niecee Nelson and the Fort Wayne Mastodons, former Homestead standout Lindley Kistler will play elsewhere next season.
Kistler, a forward, took to Twitter earlier this week to announce that she will attend the University of Saint Francis next year and play for the Cougars.
"I'm incredibly excited to be able to continue my education and play basketball for Coach (Jason) Ridge at the University of Saint Francis," Kistler tweeted on Sunday.
Kistler appeared in six games for the Mastodons (5-24) as a true freshman, averaging 5.0 points. Her 14 points against Defiance in November were a season high.
Saint Francis went 18-16 this season under Ridge.
