Bob Rohrman Subaru of Fort Wayne planned Wednesday to donate $13,000 to local Meals on Wheels provider Aging & In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana (AIHS) at the Subaru showroom, 502 Coliseum Blvd. W. Recent news about Meals on Wheels potential funding cuts prompted the dealership to help, according to a news release.

During the dealership's annual Share the Love event in 2016, $250 of every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased was donated to several charities selected by each customer. Bob Rohrman Subaru chose the Meals on Wheels program as its hometown charity for its customers to support.
The Share the Love money will be used to reduce the Meals on Wheels waiting list for local homebound residents, according to the release.
