• Scadata has been assigned a patent developed by two coinventors for a “monitoring system for electrical equipment failure and method.” The coinventors are Kevin Stock and Joe Ahdel.

• Tornier, Bloomington, Minn., has been assigned a patent developed by three coinventors for a modular humeral implant. The coinventors are Bradley Grant Emerick, Columbia City, Brian C. Hodorek, Winona Lake and Matthew Victor Kartholl.Eaton, Cleveland, has been assigned a patent developed by Martin E. Kummer, Auburn, for a “low driven inertia dual clutch.”

• Rothberg Logan & Warsco congratulates Cindy A. Wolfer, attorney, on being elected as a Fellow to The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  She practices in the area of wills, trusts and estates.

• STAR Financial Bank welcomes Steven Merritt and Bernie Christman to the mortgage banking team to serve home buying, construction loan and refinancing needs.  Gibson, has hired Teresa Crost as a service specialist on the finance team.  

• Grange Insurance has recognized family owned Myers & Hayden Insurance as a leader in the insurance industry and awarded it Grange’s Senior Partner designation. It is owned by Jillian Myers and Don Hayden.

• Cyclone Social’s latest expansion in job creation brings in director of marketing strategy Felicia Freeland  and creative communications strategist Dion Hazelbaker.  They join Brett Gauger, Olivia Ulch, Eric Hall and Molly Schenkel who have been hired over the past year.

• Ruoff Home Mortgage president asnd owner Mark Music has advanced to the semi-final in Ohio Valley Region of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award program.
