•CapeAble Sensory Products, Fort Wayne, received an Economic Development and Growth Through Entrepreneurship award. The U.S. Small Business Administration gave out the awards May 3 to 10 emerging small companies that grow Indiana's economy and received help from the Indiana Small Business Development Center.
•Niche Market Furniture, New Haven, and Nurse Etc. Staffing, Warsaw, were among 10 companies that received Established Economic Development and Growth Through Entrepreneurship on May 3 from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
•Felderman Design-Build, Fort Wayne, was awarded the construction contract by Lassus Brothers Oil for a Lassus Handy Dandy convenience station in North Webster.
•K&K Insurance Group, Fort Wayne, was honored by the Indiana Racing Memorial Association with a historical marker at its headquarters, 1712 Magnavox Way, for its contributions to the motorsports industry in recognition of its 65th anniversary. K&K was founded by Nord and Theodora "Teddi" Krauskopf to manage and market a fund for injured race car drivers.
