Make Music Day takes place Tuesday

Make Music Day, an international celebration of playing, making and sharing music that takes place yearly on the summer solstice, kicks off locally with live performances, food trucks and 10 hands-on musical tents beginning at 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday in Freimann Square, Clinton and Main streets.

The music continues 6-9 p.m. at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads & Spirits, 1915 S. Calhoun St; SevenGen, 604 W. Wayne St; and The Dash-In, 814 S. Calhoun St; and starting at 9 p.m. at The Brass Rail, 1121 Broadway.
