Recently, Allen County farmer Janet Hoffman was honored for her support of Woodlan Junior-Senior High School and Heritage Junior-Senior High School through America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. Grow Communities provides farmers the chance to win a $2,500 donation for a nonprofit organization of their choice. To further support counties declared natural disaster areas due to drought this year, winning farmers in these counties are able to direct double donations, a total of $5,000.

Hoffman chose the two schools to receive a $2,500 donation each.
