Fort Wayne’s Veterans Day parade planned for Saturday on Parnell Avenue

The annual Veterans Day Parade will march off at 11 a.m. Saturday — Veterans Day –along Parnell Avenue in Fort Wayne, beginning just north of State Boulevard and ending at Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave.

Parade units will start lining up at 10 a.m.

A Veterans Day ceremony will take place after the parade in Memorial Hall at the coliseum, an event news release said. Guests attending the ceremony will be directed park in the employee parking lot, off Parnell Avenue on the west side of the coliseum.

Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry and Michael Hershman, director at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, are scheduled to speak at the ceremony.
