Things are getting spiced up at Chapman’s Brewing Company in Columbia City as Ragin’ Cajun starts serving there Tuesday night.

Chapman’s, a craft brewery based in Angola, has retail tap rooms in Angola, Fort Wayne, Columbia City and Wabash, said Scott Fergusson, who founded Chapman’s in 2012.

“We have a partnership with Ragin’ Cajun for our Columbia City taproom – John Maxwell and his crew are well known in the Fort Wayne food truck scene and we are excited to bring his creole menu to our taproom,” Fergusson said.

The Columbia City taproom, 118 W. Van Buren St., has been open a little over a year, Fergusson said.

Chapman’s partnered with Ragin’ Cajun to build out the kitchen and food counter.

Beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Ragin’ Cajun will begin serving its “old Creole specials like Crab St. Charles with an Indiana ‘twist’ of Ossian smoked bacon crumbled on top,” according to its Facebook page.

Tuesday’s menu includes blackened shrimp tacos ($4.25) or blackened steak tacos ($3.75) along with the po boys and jambalaya that fans of its food truck favor.

It will serve 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 5-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Chapman’s Columbia City is open 3-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 2-11 p.m. Friday; noon-11 p.m. Saturday; and 12:30-8 p.m. Sunday.
